Press Accreditation Criteria
 
Print Media
Only two journalist/reporter or editor per relevant printed publication will be accredited to attend the festival as a media delegate to cover stories on the festival.

TV, Radio and Production Houses
Accreditations are limited to essential personnel - TV Crew, Presenters, Production Managers, and technical staff etc., and are approved at the discretion of the festival PRO.

Online Media

Online media must meet the following requirements, in addition to those above: The web publication must belong to a registered company, such as a media organisation, and have a specific, verifiable non-web address and a telephone number.

The online journal requesting accreditation for its correspondent must have a substantial amount of original news content or commentary or analysis on issues.

If the web site is new, the applicant seeking accreditation must provide the latest data on the site's visitors or other relevant material (press citations, etc.) about the outlet's audience. The applicant must have an established record of having written extensively on issues affecting the Wine, Travel and Tourism sector must present copies of three recently published articles with his/her byline.

Media Validation Requirements
We reserve the right to request the following validations before granting accreditation: Recognised Media or Press Card, Letter of assignment on official letterhead from the Editor or Bureau Chief. Freelance writers will be requested to provide two by-line editorial stories.

International Media
The above three mentioned accreditation applies to both international and local media

Accreditation applications from Advertising Personnel and Media Sales Representatives will not be accepted.

*Note on bona fide media organisation
As event organisers, the PRO must be satisfied that the individuals applying for accreditation are bona fide media professionals and represent bona fide media organisations. Applications are considered on a case-by-case basis and the decisions of the PRO are final. The festival reserves the right to deny or withdraw accreditation of journalists from media organizations whose activities amount to abuse of the privileges so extended or put the accreditation to improper use or act in a way not consistent with the principles of the festival.
